“It works as they advertise it, cards and cash very secure. Slides in and out of your front pocket smoothly. Great craftsmanship, feels good in your hand. Highly recommend.”

Most wallets get
worse with age.Ours get
better.
We use full-grain leather — the strongest, outermost part of the hide. After Day 1, the fibers relax, the surface darkens where your hands touch it, and the wallet builds a patina instead of peeling, cracking, or looking worn out.

Day 1
Firm full-grain leather starts clean, tight, and structured.

Year 1
The surface darkens where your hands carry it most.

Year 5
Patina deepens. The wallet softens without losing its shape.

Year 10
The marks become the story. It looks better because it was used.
Full-grain leather detailBuilt like things
used to be built.
No bonded leather. No mystery layers. No throwaway construction. Just full-grain hide, hand stitching, and a vertical cash design that feels natural every time you use it.
Full-grain leather builds patina with use instead of peeling or flaking like cheap layered leather.
We stitch by hand so we can control the tension. The stitching is built to stay tight and not come undone.
Bills slide in vertically for a more natural, ergonomic feel — made to move naturally in and out of your wallet.
Cut, dyed, and
stitched by hand
in our Otavalo workshop.
Our founder moved to Ecuador and started making leather goods out of his kitchen. That small setup grew into our Otavalo workshop, where our team of 60+ now cuts, dyes, and stitches wallets by hand.
Every Oldis One still carries that same standard: hands on the leather, control over the stitching, and no shortcut we would not put our name on.
